Meet us at the "washoku dojo" located on the 2nd floor of Nakada Cooking School in the heart of Kanazawa. Here, you'll step into the world of a sushi chef, donning the traditional costume and capturing this memorable moment with a photo.

Culinary Journey Begins

Mastering Dashimaki Tamago

Learn the art of making dashimaki tamago, a Japanese omelet, using a recipe from a Michelin-starred restaurant. This dish is a cornerstone of Japanese cuisine, offering a taste of tradition and excellence.

Exploring Kanazawa's Jibuni

Dive into the local flavors with Jibuni, a signature Kanazawa dish. This savory delight features chicken and wheat gluten in a succulent sukiyaki-style broth, showcasing the region's culinary heritage.

Miso Soup

Gain insights into the essence of Japanese cuisine by preparing miso soup with authentic Japanese fish stock. Understanding this fundamental ingredient will deepen your appreciation of Japanese culinary arts.

Nigirizushi Omakase-zushi Experience

Create five pieces of nigirizushi, selecting fish with guidance from the omicho market's finest offerings. This hands-on experience will connect you with the local seafood tradition.

Dessert and Seasonal Dish

Conclude your cooking experience with warabimochi paired with green tea, alongside a seasonal dish that captures the essence of Kanazawa's culinary landscape.

Note: The experience may extend by up to 30 minutes depending on the session's progress.

After savoring the meal you've prepared, the experience concludes, allowing participants to depart individually. Please note that the sushi, being made with raw fish, is not available for takeaway.
