Enjoy a special tea ceremony experience in Tokyo, just a short walk from teamLab and the Toyosu Market. This is a private and beginner-friendly activity where you can learn about Japanese culture in a calm and friendly space. An English-speaking teacher will show you how to enjoy matcha tea and explain simple tea manners. You can also try making your own bowl of matcha using high-quality Kyoto Uji matcha.

You’ll get to taste beautiful seasonal Japanese sweets that change with the time of year. The teacher is trained in the Urasenke style, the most well-known tea school in Japan. You don’t need to bring anything or wear special clothes—just come as you are and enjoy this peaceful, hands-on experience. It’s a perfect stop during your Tokyo visit.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time. The venue is on the 8th floor of Toyosu Civic Center, just a 1-minute walk from Exit 7 of Toyosu Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line or from Toyosu Station on the Yurikamome Line.
