Wagashi are chosen to express the current season, and tasting them before the tea is part of the ceremony's rhythm. Your instructor explains the symbolism as you go.

Is this experience private?

Yes, each session is reserved for your own group of up to 12, which keeps the tea room quiet and the pace unhurried.

What languages are available?

English is the default, with Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian possible on request depending on staff availability.
