Fuefukigawa is an excellent scenic spot. Many spacious parking lots,
attractive views. Spend pleasant moments with your family, children, friends, and loved ones. Make memories of happy moments, but renew love in the best atmosphere. Refresh your mood with your favorite snacks, meals, barbeque, ice cream and soft drinks. A beautiful antique railway train is waiting for you to take you around the park. Water Park is a very enjoyable place for children. Where children fulfill their wishes. And with it the freshest fruits from the orchards are eager to accompany you. However, no matter how much we talk about the charm of this park, it is less.
Fuefukigawa is a huge establishment with many buildings, play areas, and planted green spaces. Very walk-able, but bring an umbrella during sunny days. The indoor domes get hot, so keep water with you. There is a cafe and a restaurant, and if you have the time the restaurant is very good with AC and reasonable prices.
Nice park where you can enjoy the scenario from the hill to the city. There is fish catching activity, and you can grill the fish after catching. It’s fun for kids.
Entry to the park itself is completely free, including parking. However, individual attractions within the park charge separate fees. The Fruit Museum costs ¥400, and the Greenhouse and Fruit Hall also charges ¥400. Other facilities may have their own pricing structures.
The park is renowned for its certified "New Best 3 Night Views of Japan" status. Evening visits are particularly recommended to experience the illuminated panoramic views of the Kofu Basin and Mount Fuji. The park maintains year-round access, though specific facility hours vary by attraction.
Take local buses to the "Fuefukigawa Fruits Koen" bus stop after arriving at nearby railway stations in the Yamanashi area. The park is strategically located at the midpoint of the Fruit Line connecting Fuefuki-shi and Yamanashi-shi, making it accessible from multiple directions.
The park offers extensive family-friendly facilities including water play areas, a road train, playground equipment, and an aqua athletic field with flowing water features. The glass dome structures house various activities, and children can explore over 1,000 fruit trees representing approximately 30 different varieties across the sloping terrain.
The park celebrates the agricultural heritage of the historic Kōshū Province, specifically showcasing the traditional "Kōshū Hatchinka" - the eight unique fruits that were cultivated in this region during the Edo period. The area continues this legacy today, remaining famous for peaches and grapes that represent centuries of local fruit cultivation tradition.
