Itomachi Marche is a community hub in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, offering a curated selection of local crafts and regional produce. The facility is part of the Ito Project, a comprehensive urban development initiative designed by the Kengo Kuma Laboratory at The University of Tokyo. Named "Itomachi" (meaning "thread" in Japanese), the development symbolizes weaving opportunities for those taking on new challenges.

Saijo City is known as the "City of Water," home to Mount Ishizuchi, the highest peak in western Japan, and famous for its artesian wells called "Uchinuki" where clear underground water naturally springs from the ground. This abundant natural water resource has shaped the region's culture and identity. The marche serves as a central gathering point within the larger Itomachi commercial zone, which was developed to revitalize the area and create sustainable community connections.

Visitors to Itomachi Marche can purchase freshly made items including side dishes, bento boxes, gelato, and bread prepared with predominantly local ingredients. The market features regional specialties such as Tobe pottery, handcrafted glassware, soft Imabari towels, and local delicacies. The marche is closed on Tuesdays. Free parking is available for visitors traveling by car.
