What other travelers are saying about Kawaguchiko Circular Hall
if you are in a hurry and purposively visiting kawaguchiko for a short time to have a mount fuji view, dont do it. early morning and afternoon mostly offers fujisan view. other than this either you will experience plenty of clouds blocking clear view of mt fuji, or a dispointing light rain to spoil your whole plan. dedicate a full day to enjoy fuji view.
A gorgeous little hall, we absolutely love playing at this place and the staff there are so helpful and lovely, the piano is perfect, and it's set in front of mount fuji and lake Kawaguchi. The stone walls, wood flooring and domed roof make for a nice ambience that brings out details in, and enriches, the sound.
Good view at Fuji San! Especially then good whether!
I finally made it to the 2025 Kawaguchiko Piano Festival to hear Makoto Ozone's jazz performance. The 100-person capacity was truly a premium experience. 🎹✨ The piano sounds reverberating throughout the hall were exquisite. I also had the chance to meet a beautiful woman with a radiant aura, who is almost always a fixture at Makoto Ozone's concerts. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes by car to get there after a concert at Stella Theater, so if you're looking for a flexible schedule, you might want to focus on either the Gala or Premium Recital. Also, due to the location, taxis may be completely unavailable after the concert, and they cannot be reserved in advance. If you can drive, I recommend bringing your own car or a rental car to the Premium Recital. I'm a total novice driver, and I was stunned after being repeatedly turned down by taxi companies, smartphone in hand. However, a kind local helped me out and I was able to safely return to my lodgings. Behind the venue is the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, with a walking path. While waiting for the venue to open, it was nice to stroll in the lovely rain. Ozone-san is a truly cool and wonderful pianist. 🎹✨ I am a lucky woman to have been able to listen to that jazz in this hall. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I couldn't have asked for more luxury. 🎹✨ The hall has a chic design, and the stained-glass windows are beautiful.
There are many cherry blossom trees planted around this hole, so they are beautiful in mid-April. There is a free parking lot about a five-minute walk away.
