What other travelers are saying about Marine World Uminonakamichi
Marine World is easily one of the best attractions in Fukuoka. I really enjoyed the sardine show, it was amazing to see thousands of fish moving together in perfect harmony. The dolphin show was just as fun, full of energy and excitement that kept everyone smiling. There are so many sea creatures to see, from colorful fish to impressive sharks, and everything is presented in a way that’s both interesting and educational. I also liked that they have a nice restaurant where you can relax and enjoy a good meal after exploring. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka.
I had a great time with the kids after a long time. It was great to be able to see the dolphin show in Japan that I saw when I was little.
There were a variety of shows, so there was a lot to see. But the food wasn't cheap.
Still, it was nice to remember my childhood after such a long time.
When returning, I recommend checking the train schedule before going.
I waited too long because I didn't check the time.
A cozy aquarium with a variety of sea animals. We drove there and parking was not a problem.
The show was the highlight for our visit! It was amazing for the kids to see.
They had a special show where the diver fed the fishes in the big tank!
Both are great!
Compared to other aquariums in Japan, this one is relatively smaller. Nonetheless, you get to enjoy the shows, and the displays. You can actually finish touring the whole place in 2-3hours. Also, you can use the QR code to listen to the documentaries in English.
