Escape into the enchanting embrace of Momijidani Park, a serene haven at the foot of Mt. Misen on Miyajima Island. Renowned for its stunning autumn colors, the park becomes a vivid display of reds, oranges, and yellows, with around 200 maple trees showcasing their seasonal glory.

However, Momijidani Park's beauty isn't confined to autumn alone; it's a year-round retreat with lush greenery in summer and delicate cherry blossoms in spring. As you meander along the paths, the gentle flow of the Momijidani River and the presence of roaming deer create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for a stroll.

The park also serves as a gateway to the Misen Ropeway, providing a scenic ascent to the summit of Mt. Misen, where panoramic views await. Whether savoring local maple-flavored treats or embarking on a hike, Momijidani Park offers an unforgettable experience.

Visit Momijidani Park to experience this extraordinary destination's unique blend of natural beauty and cultural treasures.

What other travelers are saying about Momijidani Park

A beautiful park with sacred wild deer scattered around. We did the cable car to the top and walked down. Make sure you have good walking shoes/boots. Pre book the cable car if you can. We were lucky and there were a few tickets left.

A walk through the park is a nice way to escape the crowds. There are some nice views and nature around the area, plus a couple of restaurants so make sure to check them out as a lunch option

Beautiful park and well placed directional signs to get there. We were bummed to not see many fall colors, but the vermillion bridges were pretty.
