Spring is the optimal season to visit, when over 1,000 cherry trees bloom along more than half a mile of roadway parallel to the Nanatani River. The area, known as Yawaragi no Michi, is recognized as the premier cherry blossom viewing destination in the Tamba region. Unlike Kyoto's busier sakura spots, this location offers a less crowded alternative while providing extensive pink and white vistas during peak bloom season.
