Excellent place to visit. Castle closes around 430pm, but you can still take picture from the outside. You can also wait for it to be lit up around 530pm and still take pictures.
There are not a lot of tourist especially at night around 6pm so you can freely take pictures and just hang-out around.
As a bonus, if you took the tokaido line, there is a small takoyaki takeout place nearby(it's just like a food stall within a van), try to visit their place to get small snacks.
Very nice place to visit.!From Nagoya Meitetsu Station, take the train to Ichinomiya. Then get off at Shin Kiyosu. From Shin Kiyosu Station just walk to Kiyosu Castle. (about 10 minutes)
