Matsugasaki Park

Matsugasaki Park in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, is a historic site where Yonezawa Castle once stood. Though the castle is gone, its stone walls, gates, and moats remain, giving a glimpse of the past. The park is connected to Uesugi Kenshin, a famous warlord, and is home to Uesugi Shrine, which honors his legacy.
