Tokyu Kabukicho Tower

Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is a 48-story mixed-use skyscraper that opened in April 2023 in Tokyo's Kabukicho district, marking a significant transformation of Shinjuku's entertainment quarter. Standing at 225 meters tall, the tower was developed by Tokyu Corporation and Tokyu Recreation as part of the Kabukicho 1-chome redevelopment project, replacing the former Milano-za bowling alley and cinema complex that operated from 1956 to 2014.

The tower represents a bold reimagining of Kabukicho's role in Tokyo's urban landscape, combining entertainment, hospitality, and dining in a single vertical complex. Its development aligns with Tokyo Metropolitan Government's efforts to revitalize Kabukicho as an international entertainment destination while maintaining its distinctive character as Japan's largest entertainment district. The building houses two luxury hotels - BELLUSTAR TOKYO occupying floors 39-47 and HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU on floors 18-38 - alongside entertainment venues that honor the area's theatrical heritage.

The tower's main attractions include Zepp Shinjuku, a 1,500-capacity live music venue on floors 4-5, and Theater Milano-za, a 900-seat theater on floors 6-8 that continues the legacy of the original Milano-za entertainment complex. The second floor features Kabukicho Yokocho, a food hall with approximately 10 restaurants serving regional Japanese cuisine in a festival-like atmosphere. ROOF TOP BAR & TERRACE on the 17th floor offers panoramic views of Tokyo's skyline, while namco Tokyo provides arcade gaming experiences on the 3rd and 4th floors.
