Absolutely! This is a private tour, so we’re happy to accommodate your requests. If you’d like to add or skip certain spots, please let us know in advance. Minor schedule adjustments can also be made on the tour day, depending on availability and logistics.
In the case of inclement weather, parts of the Kumano Kodo walk may be canceled for safety reasons. The tour will continue with alternate activities, but refunds will not be provided for missed trekking portions. Please bring a raincoat or umbrella in case of light rain.
We primarily use public transportation, including trains, buses, and a cable car. Please note that seating may not be guaranteed on public transit except for reserved trains. Luggage delivery service is unavailable, so it’s best to pack lightly.
The tour includes two unique accommodations: one night in a temple lodge (shukubo) at Mt. Koya, where you’ll experience traditional Japanese temple lodging, and one night at a hot spring onsen hotel. Both stays offer a glimpse into Japanese culture and hospitality.
