No experience is needed. The host will guide you through every step in a clear and simple way, so both first-time visitors and those familiar with Japanese culture are welcome.
You can wear regular clothes. If you'd like to wear traditional attire, a kimono rental and dressing package is available for ¥7,000, but this must be booked in advance.
The ceremony takes place at Matcha Salon wa no cocoro, on the 3rd floor of Fura-te Sapporo. Look for the JAM used clothing store on the first floor, and enter through the far-right entrance of the building.
Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, especially related to the traditional sweets served with the matcha tea.
