宫岛宝藏神社丰国神社千畳阁是一座具有深厚历史渊源的宏伟建筑。它建于1587年，由丰臣秀吉下令修建，原本用于存放佛教经典。名称“千畳阁”意为“千张榻榻米的大殿”，暗示了其巨大的规模。由于秀吉在其完工前去世，大殿始终未完工，因而保留了开阔通透的空间。
