环境良好，一个多小时也可以逛完，能够把这些文明保存下来，真是太好了，和太宰府天满宫有一段自动传送带，，这样的服务太人性了，，，。
開放時間：周日、周二至周四 09:30—17:00（16:30后停止進館） 周五、周六 09:30—20:00（19:30后停止進館） 閉館日： 周一（周一逢節假日開館、閉館日顺延至下一个工作日）、年末 入場費用： 大人 430日元 大学生 130日元 交通： - 最近的車站是西鐵列車的太宰府車站。在步行的情況下，從太宰府站出發約15分鐘。從太宰府天滿宮出發，步行約5分鐘。 - 自駕有料，250日元/回 （普通車約313個單位）
寧靜的空間，如果有點閒情雅致可以來看看。 不過這次看的文化展覺得策展內容有點失望，動線和內容都沒有很完善，雖然主題是九州歷史，但是卻沒對九州歷史進行比較全面的介紹。展覽主題的用時期區分，但是中間的斷層沒有說明，從石器時代到青銅器，突然就跳到遣唐使，中間沒有說明很難理解其中的轉變。 不過就環境和觀光的角度，還是蠻值得來的。
坐落在山间，景色很美，离太宰阁天满宫很近。从天满宫有电梯可以直接上到博物馆入口，门票430日元，很便宜。馆内展品不算太多，但也很值得看。不逛特设馆的话一个半小时左右可以逛完。
