The campground provides designated camping areas with basic facilities. Bring all camping equipment, food, water, and supplies from the mainland, as purchasing items on the island is difficult.
No reservations are required. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with minimal fees. Arrive early during peak seasons to secure a spot.
Coastal hiking trails, fishing, visiting Matengai Cliff (250 meters high), birdwatching, stargazing, and observing marine life from shore are the main activities available.
Summer offers the most stable weather and reliable ferry service. Ferry schedules can be cancelled due to rough seas, particularly in winter. Check weather forecasts and confirm ferry operations before traveling. Bring wind and rain gear regardless of season.
