1-Day Walking Tour in Shinjuku and Shibuya

Meet your guide inside Yotsuya-Sanchome Station at Exit 4, directly in front of the yellow information board just outside the ticket gates. Look for a Snow Monkey Resorts tour tag. Yotsuya-Sanchome is 5 minutes from Shinjuku and 14 minutes from Tokyo Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.

Visit the Shinjuku Historical Museum for a guided introduction to the district's development from early Japan to the present day. The museum features life-sized replicas of a traditional Japanese shop interior, a residential home, and a period train carriage.

Walk approximately 20 minutes to Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo's most popular parks and gardens. Your guide will cover the history and layout of the park before guests have free time to explore. The group then reconvenes at the park's tea house for a matcha and wagashi sweets experience.

Cross into Harajuku for a guided introduction to the area's role in shaping Japanese pop culture, street fashion, and kawaii aesthetics. Free time follows for shopping, eating, and exploring. The area is known for its dessert shops, fashion boutiques, and distinctive street culture.

Walk to the center of Shibuya to visit its most recognizable landmarks. The visit includes the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, a rooftop observatory with views looking down over the crossing, and a local urban park popular with Tokyo residents.
