Workshop Agenda

Meeting Point & Arrival

The experience begins at A House With Flowers, a dedicated tasting venue located in the heart of Shinjuku. The venue is inside a building with a pachinko parlor on the first floor. An outdoor elevator near the pachinko entrance will take you to the 4th floor, where the tasting space is located, and your host will be waiting to welcome you.

Welcome & Sake Introduction

After arrival, the host will introduce the tasting schedule and share an overview of Japanese sake. You will learn about different sake styles, alcohol levels, and what to notice when tasting, setting a clear foundation for the experience.

Curated Sake Tasting

Enjoy a guided tasting of eight carefully selected sakes that are only available in Japan. The tasting starts with lighter, smoother sakes and gradually moves toward bottles with deeper aromas and richer flavors, allowing you to experience a wide range of profiles.

Japanese Snack Pairings

Traditional Japanese snacks are served alongside the sake selections. These pairings highlight how sake interacts with food and help bring out new flavor notes in each tasting.

Amazake Tasting & Closing

To finish the experience, you will sample amazake, a naturally sweet drink made from fermented rice koji. Commonly enjoyed as a dessert, it offers a gentle and satisfying conclusion to the tasting.
