The principal image, an eleven-faced Kannon, which can only be viewed three times a year, was a hidden Buddha, so it is in excellent condition and retains the splendor of its original creation, making it an elegant statue. The Buddha head in the treasure hall is also beautiful. You can enjoy a blissful time sitting on the veranda of the thatched-roof Kōgetsutei, a farmhouse relocated from the Edo period, and quietly gazing at the main hall.
