Tours proceed in all weather, including rain, except during official Red or Purple Warnings.

In the event of strong winds, heavy rain, or maintenance, the boat or ropeway may be replaced by a bus service.

There is a small chance that Owakudani may be closed due to volcanic activity, in which case an alternative stop will be arranged.
