A wonderful food experience in Kyoto
We had a really fun food and cooking experience with Meiko and Yumi yesterday. Yumi took us on a fascinating tour of the food market, and even gave us a helpful Japanese lesson! Mieko gave us a wonderful cooking lesson, and the meal we made together was lovely. Thanks so much to them both for such a subarashi experience!
Great people, great place, great experiences
The second time around (April 2026), we got to make our own sushi with the wonderful Meiko. She walked us through the steps needed to get everything tasting great, and we had a great time doing it. We ended up having a nice private meal where we chatted about Japan.
Overall, the place is well worth visiting to experience something different for an afternoon in Kyoto.
