My family and I had a cooking class with Etsuko and her team and the experience was amazing. She was patient and encouraging throughout the whole demonstration and this made my family feel so welcomed and relaxed. And best of all the meal was delicious.

Peaceful escape from the bustle of Kyoto
One of the highlights of my visit to Kyoto was attending WAK Japan for an Ikebana demonstration with Mieko - a delightful, friendly lady with over 20 years experience who speaks very good English.
She explained everything step by step and then I created my own arrangement with her expert guidance.
She also showed me around this lovely historic building. If I’d had more time I would have tried calligraphy or a tea ceremony here.
A lovely way to spend some quiet peaceful time away from the hectic city.
Located near imperial palace gardens and there’s a super coffee shop nearby called School Bus.
