I had a one-to-one cookery class given by Mieko Nomura. She was an excellent guide who gave clear instructions in very good English. Prior to the cooking experience there was a guided shopping (for ingredients) tour with lots of interesting tastings at Nishiki Market and nearby.

A sensational Japanese cooking course!
My cooking course with Mieko was absolutely fantastic and I learnt how to make some delicious Japanese food under her expert guidance. My food allergy (gluten) was looked after brilliantly and I was able to eat everything that I made. I would 100% recommend this course if you are in Kyoto!

I had a one-to-one cookery class given by Mieko Nomura. She was an excellent guide who gave clear instructions in very good English. Prior to the cooking experience there was a guided shopping (for ingredients) tour with lots of interesting tastings at Nishiki Market and nearby.
