So beautiful at night! The lights turn on, and there are SO many lights that it is breathtaking. The park is big, but very easy stroll. The best part is that there are tour buses or regular buses that arrive at the park, so it is easy to get to.
Also, each person gets 1000 yen coupon to use for food or merchandise. The items are reasonably priced. I got a fried chicken and potato ball for 500 yen and still had some leftover for merchandise at the gift shop. It is a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend this enough!
Visited Ashikaga Flower Park on April 26, 2026 and honestly, as someone who loves flowers, I could probably stay there all day without getting bored 🥹
The wisteria flowers were already in full bloom and looked absolutely unreal, especially the giant wisteria trees and flower tunnels. The whole park smelled amazing and felt like walking inside a fantasy movie.
The roses were not fully blooming yet when I visited, but the scenery was still incredibly beautiful and worth it. There are also cafés, flower-themed snacks, souvenir shops, and many relaxing spots to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere.
If you love flowers and peaceful places, this park honestly feels like heaven for a day 🌸
Please check the season as they are famously known for Fuji or Wisteria abd the entry price is the highest in April to May when they are in bloom. Other times came be a bit higher as well but they lost them on the website site as well as the flowers conditions so you won't go and be disappointed. It's quite large and has a variety of flowers. If you want to see the Wisteria, I recommend going early to beat some of the crowd as the peak season is around Japan's Golden Week holiday.
Overall, it's a really nice flower park but a bit far from central Tokyo. Worth the trip is if you love flowers and want to stroll around while enjoying the view and smell of the flowers!
This place truly speaks for itself—its beauty makes it a must-see destination. However, despite the website and recent reviews claiming it's at peak bloom, I found that the best of the blossoms has already passed. Even so, there is still plenty to enjoy.
Parking: plenty of free parking
Restroom: there are so many restroom corner & also they are well maintained.
People with disabilities also can enjoy.
A truly amazing experience when visiting during peak wisteria flowering season. It is unlike any other flower festival or garden experience we have been too. The wisterias are very mature trees and have been diligently cared for leading to an astonishing flowering extravaganza that has to be seen to be believed. There were just so many jaw dropping displays. It was so good that we went back twice in 4 days as the first visit was during a rainy day. And it was still awe inspiring the second time round.
