This is the former site of a maritime school that once sent many sailors out into the world. You can learn about the Seto Inland Sea and the world's oceans here. The gardens are also beautifully maintained.
There were three cafes on the island, but they were all closed (even though it was on Sunday) probably because they were only open for the Setouchi Triennale. 💦 This place is open almost all year round, has toilets, sells juice, and even serves lunch!
It was really helpful!! Apparently you can also stay overnight. Chicken Nanban set meal! It was delicious😋❤
