Cape Chinen Park is a coastal park on the Chinen Peninsula in Nanjo City, southern Okinawa. The cape area holds cultural importance in Okinawan history due to its proximity to Sefa-utaki, one of the most sacred sites of the former Ryukyu Kingdom. The park was established to provide public access to the dramatic coastline and preserve the natural cape environment extending into the Pacific Ocean. The southeastern position of the cape carried spiritual significance in Ryukyuan cosmology, contributing to the area's historical reverence.

The park sits approximately 30 to 50 meters above sea level on elevated coastal cliffs offering extensive ocean views. The vantage point provides visibility to Kudaka Island, a small island considered sacred as the legendary birthplace of the Ryukyuan people. The park contains landscaped grounds, walking paths, and observation platforms positioned to maximize coastal vistas. The environment features subtropical Okinawan vegetation and coastal geology shaped by ocean forces. The Chinen Marine Leisure Center within the park provides information on local marine ecology and coastal features.

Visitors walk paved pathways to multiple observation decks offering varied perspectives of cliffs, ocean, and distant islands. The elevated viewpoints enable photography of coastal formations and horizons, with clear conditions allowing views of Kudaka Island and open Pacific waters. Rest areas and grassy spaces provide places to enjoy scenery. The park's location near Sefa-utaki, within walking distance, makes it a natural pairing with visits to this UNESCO World Heritage sacred site.

Cape Chinen Park is approximately 40 to 50 minutes by car from Naha City and Naha Airport via Route 331 southeast along the coast. Public buses from Naha serve the Chinen area, though reaching the park may require connections or walking from stops. Rental cars offer most convenient access for independent travel. The park pairs well with Sefa-utaki, Okinawa World, and other southern attractions.
