What other travelers are saying about Chichibu Farmers Factory Usagida Winery
The factory tour was very easy to understand, and the staff patiently explained the process, so I was able to get a good understanding of what goes on behind the scenes in winemaking. It was a valuable experience to be able to see the actual equipment up close, and I was excited from start to finish. What's even better is the tasting service, where you can try several different types to find the flavor that suits you best. They were all easy to drink, and I really felt the high quality. This experience was so satisfying that it has made me want to buy their wines regularly.

I made a reservation and toured the factory on a Sunday in mid-October.
Although this year's harvest is over, the winery is committed to the bounty of the Chichibu Yoshida region, and they are currently exporting their wines. It was a great experience to hear the owner's thoughts and learn more about the intricacy of their wines.
After the tour, we were able to sample wines at the nearby shop. While there were too many to sample, we did manage to purchase two bottles: a white wine infused with Mizunara oak chips and one aged in whiskey barrels.
The aroma of the barrels, the sweet aroma of Mizunara oak, and the bounty of the land combined to create a unique flavor that was truly delicious. 🍷😋
The president happened to be there and we were able to hear about the winery. Thank you very much!

I visited on a bus tour.
Since I don't drink alcohol, it was my first time at a winery, but I thought it was a small, cozy facility.
Because it was raining, I didn't get to see the fields, so I had a lot of free time.
