Osaka is such a fun and lively city. The shopping areas are huge and full of energy, especially around Dotonbori where you can easily spend hours just walking around.
Of course, one of the must-see spots is the famous Glico Running Man sign — it’s always crowded with people taking photos, but it really feels like a symbol of Osaka.
And the food here is amazing. I tried takoyaki and honestly it might be the best in Japan. Fresh, hot, crispy outside and soft inside with a big piece of octopus.
Great city for shopping, street food, and enjoying the vibrant nightlife atmosphere.
Soemoncho is one of the best areas to experience the energy of Osaka. It’s right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba. The streets are filled with amazing restaurants, cafés, shops, and nightlife, making it an ideal location for both first-time visitors and returning travelers. Despite being lively, it’s easy to get around thanks to excellent public transport nearby.
