I'm not sure I can talk this place up enough! As an arborist it's hard to create a treetop experience that matches the feelings I get working at hight but this was even better. The safety system they have for moving from station to station and course to course is genius. I would recommend bringing your own helmet if you are into extra safety as that is not a requirement up there but would add to peace of mind. Having said that, at no point did I feel unsafe or at risk. I went for 1 hour but I wish I had gone for 3! Our group had a wide variety of people and comfort levels but everyone had fun as there verying levels of difficulty within the 10 different courses. English friendly. Competent staff. Go and have a real Japanese forest experience that you won't forget!!

Would recommend clothes you're happy with getting dirty, and decent sport / hiking shoes.
Most routes are easy to walk, but some require a little strength, though you can just rest on your harness through them if need be.
As the tourism ambassador of Chichibu, I came to experience this forest adventure for the first time ! Great experience with all my friends to celebrate my birthday ! The adventure course is approximately 1h30-2h and it’s really fun to do in a group! We were 7 of us and we had great fun 🤩!
You have to reserve in advance online. And pay by CASH ONLY (¥3800 per person ) on location ( be careful ). This time the lady at the counter wasn’t the nicest and I was disappointed for this part of the experience.
You need LONG PANTS and covered shoes and ideally clothes that can get dirty !! Also I advice you to have bug repellent and bring gloves 🧤 for the grip (if not they sell it for ¥300) actually not bad !
You have to read an explanation on IPad on how to do first and then do some first trial and you’ll be ready.
My friends were afraid of heights but I think it’s a great place to overcome your fear of heights as you will were either way a harness that will protect you from falling !
If you feel to sick you can always quit in the middle of adventure but it’s great fun to continue !!
It’s about 12 min cab ride (¥2600) from the Seibu Chichibu station. You should reserve w cab For the way back to the station as there are no cabs for the forest adventure. Or you can take the bus but it takes off only every half hour so makes it more difficult…
Kids too young can’t do it so watch out !
There is also a camp of chalet and clamping / onsen 🏕 next door you can book for those who want to stay over ! -> PICA CHICHIBU !

• It’s fun filled and so safe as well.
• staff are so kind and very helpful at all situations.
• Save energy and explore all activities with lot of fun. Must visit.
Despite being in the summer, the forest was cool and humid. Adventure courses were really fun! The most difficult is walking through hoops
