The Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum, located in Kawasaki, Japan, opened its doors in September 2011 as a tribute to the beloved manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio, creator of the iconic character Doraemon. The museum was established by the artist's widow and is officially operated by the Fujiko Pro company. Fujiko F. Fujio, whose real name was Hiroshi Fujimoto, lived in Kawasaki for over 35 years, making this location particularly meaningful. The museum houses an extensive collection of original artwork, manuscripts, and personal items that showcase the artist's creative process and prolific career spanning several decades.

The museum represents a significant cultural landmark celebrating one of Japan's most influential manga artists and the broader impact of Japanese manga culture worldwide. Doraemon, the blue robotic cat from the 22nd century, has become a cultural icon not only in Japan but across Asia and beyond, with the series having been translated into numerous languages. Visitors to the museum can explore three floors of exhibition spaces featuring rotating displays of original manga artwork, watch exclusive short films in the museum's theater, and visit a detailed recreation of Fujiko F. Fujio's workspace. The outdoor area includes a life-sized Doraemon figure and whimsical installations featuring characters from the manga. The museum cafe serves themed meals and drinks, including the famous Anki-Pan (Memory Bread) from the Doraemon series. A well-stocked museum shop offers exclusive merchandise, books, and collectibles available nowhere else. The museum is located in the Tama Ward of Kawasaki City, approximately 20 minutes by bus from Noborito Station on the JR Nambu Line or Mukogaoka-Yuen Station on the Odakyu Line. Direct shuttle buses run regularly from both stations to the museum. From central Tokyo, the journey typically takes 40 to 50 minutes. Entry requires advance reservations with specific time slots, as the museum operates on a timed-entry system to maintain a comfortable visitor experience. Adult admission costs 1,000 yen, while children's tickets range from 500 to 700 yen depending on age.
