What other travelers are saying about Fukuda Art Museum
Stunning architecture showcasing (from the cafe) the view towards the river and its famous bridge. Truly a hidden gem, do not miss this view. Cafe has good food, too, and is uncrowded—a blessing in this over-touristed area! Museum has several galleries and focuses on local Kyoto artists from the last 100 years or so. Only possible to experience the cafe if you buy a museum ticket.

I try to come here every time I go to Arashiyama to get away from the crowds. The exhibitions are not large but you can enjoy it at your leisure and the cafe, albeit pricey, is great! Beautiful views of Arashiyama and there is always space, even on weekends.

The gallery is great on providing online and offline guide. Even give the description on the method and material. Really make the experience more exciting. The walking flow and arrangement is a world class standard.
Come with beautiful architecture and gift shop too. I didn’t stop by at the cafe but seem to have a great view.
