Hitachi Seaside Park is a huge and beautiful park that offers something for everyone. The famous nemophila flowers create an amazing blue landscape with breathtaking views. There are many food stalls and eateries throughout the park, which makes visiting even more enjoyable.
In another section of the park, you can see colorful tulips, relaxing lake views, plenty of seating areas, and fun play zones for kids. It is a great place for families and nature lovers.
The park can get very crowded, so it is best to carry your tickets in advance. Strollers are available for children under 2 years old, but for kids above 2, it is better to bring your own stroller since the park is very large and children can get tired easily.
Overall, Hitachi Seaside Park is a wonderful destination for a full day of fun, flowers, and scenic beauty.
We enjoyed our time at the park and were fortunate enough to visit during full blooming of tulips, which are one of my favourite flowers.
The train was an excellent way to see the whole park including some parts that most may not see. The commentary was also very interesting and informative. We used the Samsung Interpreter app which worked better than Google for longer stretches of commentary.
There were also rental bikes available and many food carts throughout the park, but most are unhealthy or junk food. The park has free picnic mats and outdoor lounging chairs to rest.
Would love to return and take our time to enjoy the park at a slower pace. In fact, if we had known how lovely and large it was, we would have changed our itinerary and purchase a 2 day pass. If time allows, I recommend doing the 2 day pass.
This is the biggest park in Japan. We visited on 11/4 anf the nemophila was still partially bloom only. Red buds sakura and rapeseed flowers are pretty. Tulips and daffodils were in full bloom and beautiful.
The entrance fee was ¥800/adult.
Maybe it was weekend so there are too many people visited.
We joined a tour and took a bus from Tokyo. The ride was smooth and we enjoyed the seaside park so much.
The baby blue eyes flower were amazing. The whole scene was endless and beautifully arranged.
Seaside park is not only baby blue eyes but also tulips and many other greens and plants.
We also took the seaside park tram and went around the most of the park. It is a must see in spring, don’t just focus on cherry blossom. This is another attraction worth of the trip.
A huge and beautiful park with plenty of parking slots, multiple gates, and public transportation facilities, which lies near the majestic Pacific Ocean. You can either walk, rent a bicycle, or get on the toy train to see the major portion of the park. There are many food stalls, hangout places, and you can set up your own tent to relax for a while during the day. Kids will surely enjoy this place as many fantasy rides are available.
