One of the four protective Kannon for Atsuta Temple. Lovely architecture and beautiful grounds. The three tiered pagoda is especially nice.

This was a great place to go and visit. It is very visually appealing. It had a good atmosphere and I was able to get the stamp for my stamp book.

The unique atmosphere here is indescribable! The temple grounds are spacious, with many halls split into two sections, the center being spacious and the main hall at the end! 👀 The building is imposing and stately! There was plenty to see, including the South Gate, East Gate, and Three-Story Pagoda, all designated Important Cultural Properties. 🎵 I went on a weekday, so there weren't many people and I was able to find a parking spot, but on weekends, the parking lot isn't as big, so it seems like it would be difficult to find a spot! 😄 If you complete the visit and get a stamp at 12 temples within the temple grounds and at Daitoku-in Temple to the east, you can receive a charm at the main hall. ✨ It's been 25 years since I last visited, and the surrounding atmosphere and Jimokuji Kannon haven't changed at all; only I have. 😄

Setsubun 👹 on February 3, 2026...in the Owari region, it's Kasadera Kannon Temple. I also popped into Nafco and Aoki Supermarket just before closing time to try to get some leftover ehomaki, but they were already gone! 😭 Actually, I'd rather have them sold out than end up wasting food...for my mental health. Even if I could have bought them, even half price might have been too expensive for me, so I'll just say this was a good thing! 😊 By the way, eating beans 🫘 for every year I'm getting makes my mouth dry, right? So I decided not to. 😅
