Spectacular Pagoda and gate.
Peaceful atmosphere.
Short walk distance from Meitetsu line train station.
Some good places to eat around is making it a nice place to visit and spend time
This was a great place to go and visit. It is very visually appealing. It had a good atmosphere and I was able to get the stamp for my stamp book.
One of the four protective Kannon for Atsuta Temple. Lovely architecture and beautiful grounds. The three tiered pagoda is especially nice.
Setsubun 👹 on February 3, 2026...in the Owari region, it's Kasadera Kannon Temple. I also popped into Nafco and Aoki Supermarket just before closing time to try to get some leftover ehomaki, but they were already gone! 😭 Actually, I'd rather have them sold out than end up wasting food...for my mental health. Even if I could have bought them, even half price might have been too expensive for me, so I'll just say this was a good thing! 😊
By the way, eating beans 🫘 for every year I'm getting makes my mouth dry, right? So I decided not to. 😅
The historic Jimokuji Kannon Temple is crowded with people visiting during the New Year holidays. The building itself is well worth seeing, with a three-story pagoda and other attractions. When I visited, some of the temple grounds were under construction, but that didn't stop it from being a wonderful experience.
