The museum is inside the building at the 27th floor I remember, the museum is the size of 1 floor , that means is very small, is more of a exposition than a museum and was only dedicated to 1 artist and probably some walls to the middle school little artists.
They have a 3D movie about the paintings and a VR experience that I was expecting it to be similar like you are inside the painting world or something but what it is actually is a documentary in Japanese:)))
Good luck with that, what can I say.
Pretty much the 1300¥ was for a 40 minutes exposition here. 15 minutes was only looking at the window outside though. 🫠😅🙂
I don't know a lot about japanese art, and we often have exhibition about very weird artist in Paris, so it's was a great surprise to go there and discover the art of Koji Kinutani. Through his art, you can feel so many things and recognize so many references that it's almost a fun experience. Also, the place is surprinsingly well arranged, because I was always a bit disappointed by the lack of explanation in japanese museum. 10/10
Impressive work by an incredible artist. The 3D show was a breathtaking. You need to take your time looking at the paintings and admiring the huge talent Mr koji kinutani has. The staff are amazing too. The building located on the 27f of the umeda sky building and its only 7 minutes walk from Umeda station. You need to come and look for yourself and immerse yourself in the art.
It is a small museum. It consists of 3d arts, movie theater and English description to help understand what it is. This gives great view of Osaka. Free access with Osaka Amazing Pass as of Mar 2026.
Beautiful museum with stunning paintings and 3D art. It’s a very peaceful place since it’s not too busy. The artworks are unique and showcase interesting elements. The view from the museum is also amazing.
