I only got to experience the hot springs bath area, but it was amazing. The water is directly from the source, which means that the baths are very hot. But, because it is not diluted in any way, the effect of the hot spring is direct. I felt warm and cozy two days later!
⚠️If you are a clean freak or germaphobe, you absolutely, absolutely, absolutely should not come here!
* I was attracted by the beautiful photos of the open-air bath, but as soon as I entered the building, the floor was gritty with sand and dust, and even the changing room floor was gritty. Therefore, you are supposed to take off your slippers before entering the changing room, but several people were wearing them inside the changing room.
* The washing areas are too close together, and you get splashed with water from the people next to you. There is mold on all the showers and chairs.
* I thought I might be okay with just the open-air bath, but there is green moss? or algae? growing all over the place that comes off with a light scrub.
* There are only two old hair dryers and no chairs for the number of washing areas and lockers.
If you don't mind these things, then it should be fine.
The food at the restaurant was very delicious!
We used the bathhouse for a day trip because we were camping nearby.
The male staff member was unfriendly and had a very bad attitude. Since we entered after 8 PM, they probably wanted to leave early.
The cost was quite reasonable, 600 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.
The cleaning was inadequate and the place was dirty. The facilities were old and mold was noticeable.
The floor was crumbling in places.
The indoor bath was extremely hot; I could barely endure it for a minute. The temperature of the open-air bath varied greatly depending on the location.
It would be difficult for small children.
We were perhaps the last customers, as they turned off most of the lights before we left the front desk.
Even though it's a long-established facility, it was quite unpleasant.
I thoroughly enjoyed the white squid; it was delicious!
I was also happy that sashimi was served at breakfast.
The men's bath had a better view, so I think it would be good if it were time-limited. There was no water dispenser in the hot spring, so I recommend bringing your own water bottle!
