The Nihondaira Ropeway is a fun ride. It is pretty busy even though we were there on a weekday. It looks and feels classical, but it has good maintenance. The workers are very friendly and are doing their jobs very well. The ropeway feels safe and well-kept. The Nihondaira Ropeway is one of the famous tourist attractions. But I don't think I will be there again next time.

Riding the Ropeway is very fun and scenic. The views are fantastic! It was very crowded and took 30+ minutes to get on the Ropeway to go down to the shrine and then another 30+ minute wait to get back up. The gondola you ride in is very crowded.

The cherry blossom was amazing. The store is great, especially the orange juice tap is a must-try.

If you are planning to visit Kunozan Toshoku, you may need to go thru this ropeway. The ropeway usually takes almost 10-20 minutes. And only the cable car is running. However, not too many people, so it is spacy and comfy. The price of the around ticket is pretty expensively, in my opinion. However, I strongly recommend going to visit Kunozan if you come to visit Nihondaira.
