What other travelers are saying about Nihondaira Observation Deck & Ropeway
If you are planning to visit Kunozan Toshoku, you may need to go thru this ropeway. The ropeway usually takes almost 10-20 minutes. And only the cable car is running. However, not too many people, so it is spacy and comfy. The price of the around ticket is pretty expensively, in my opinion. However, I strongly recommend going to visit Kunozan if you come to visit Nihondaira.
it's the only way to visit the shrine. only about 5mins journey that went through the mountains and valley, great scenic view. the operator gave a brief introduction to the places throughout the journey. the cable car is spacious and could carry i think 20 people? it wasn't a busy time when i got there so could move freely in the car and watched around like 360 degree. very pleasant journey.
Its a cable car from Nihondaira to the temple. Lot of tourist came here when i visit. Its a 3-5 minutes ride from the top to the temple and vice versa. You can get discount too if tou visit their website 😉
It's a basic mode of transportation going to the other side of the mountain. The other side of the mountain has shops where people can dine and buy souvenirs. I thought the price is a little expensive around ¥1,400/person.
Nihondaira is renowned for its panoramic views of Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay, and the city of Shizuoka. It is a popular spot for sightseeing, photography, and enjoying the natural beauty of the region.
