What other travelers are saying about Numabukuro Hikawa Shrine
This is my favorite temple to explore in Nakano! I went on a weekday and it was so peaceful and tranquil with minimal amount of tourist as it is in a queit Japanese neighborhood. The tranquil atmosphere, relaxing atmospheric music, nice balance of nature and modern allowed me to sit down and be in my zen. Highly recommend visiting this temple off the beaten path and don't forget to getn your goshuin stamp and see the sign where it mentions that this temple was in an anime!
Absolutely beautiful. Had an amazing marriage ceremony. The people there were very kind & helpful in helping us prepare for it. Wonderful memories that I'll hold for life.
Quiet and serene. The statues to the west side are very interesting. Nothing explained in English, though. Nothing to go out of your way. Twenty minute walk from Nakano station.
