Very lucky to be there when sakura (cherry blossom) was in full bloom. The park was full of local people who enjoy being with family. The general vibe was pleasant and relax.
Absolutely gorgeous park with Kushima Castle and Ōmura shrine in there as well. Sakura is starting to bloom but it will be more gorgeous when they all do.
A very pleasant scenic spot. The castle itself is long gone, but some of the ramparts remain. It's situated on a hill at the edge of the water - and would look great if not for all the scafolding and covers (presumably, renovations are in progress). Still, nice place to stroll around.
We visited on the 8th of June, and the Iris flowers are in full bloom.
It's an amazing sight and really a great place to take beautiful photos.
The castle and shrine are fun to explore with interesting features
Beautiful during cherry blossom season and perfect place for a walk and a picnic. They dont have a park for kids which is a bummer but plenty of room to run around. All can see the remains of omura castle
