We went on the "Yakatabune Nattoku" for lunch on a weekday. The name is interesting.
Although it was December, the breeze was fresh and it wasn't too cold, making it a lovely day. We first headed upstream, then downstream. It was a 40-minute journey, passing under a sunken bridge and returning to the pier.
The boatman was friendly and answered our questions with a bit of humor. We were able to enjoy a precious time surrounded by untouched nature.
We were blessed with good weather and were able to spend a relaxing and wonderful time. The boatman's talk was very informative, and the lunch was delicious.
