What other travelers are saying about Snoopy Museum Tokyo
If you’re truly a Snoopy fan, you’re going to love this museum! It tells the whole story of how the author came up with the idea, who inspired each character, and the personality behind every one of them. There are original drawings, interactive sections, and merchandise from over the years.
There are only 2 Snoopy museums in the world, and even though this one is small, I absolutely loved it. I actually spent 2 hours looking around and reading everything!! I’ve loved Snoopy since I was little, so coming here really filled my heart with love and nostalgia from my childhood.
I recommend it 1000%! 💖✨️

As a snoopy fan, this was an outstanding experience! Every detail in this museum was so cool. I loved the comics on the walls and the informative signs next to the characters. Learning about the history was very interesting. There were so many places to take photos and each one was adorable. The gift shop was fun but a bit pricey so I only picked out one thing. Everything about this was perfect and if you are a snoopy fan you will love it, a must visit!

Loved this place! It’s a bit of a train ride from the city, but worth it. The museum is located inside an outlet with lots of fancy brands, so it’s also a great chance to shop at really good prices.
The current incarnation of the museum opened at the Minami-machida Grandberry Park in Machida on 14 December 2019, as an official satellite of the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, California. It reopened in February 2024 after renovations.
I am from California but never been to the original one in Santa Rosa Ca, yet. My son had visited the Original one and he said The original one and Tokyo one are different.
I’m big fan of Peanuts and so does my children. We bought the admission tickets in advance online. I recommend if you want to make sure to go here buy the tickets in advance. I think it is limited but you may get the tickets in person if there’s an opening.
The museum was not that big inside and it took only less than one hour or so to stay there. I enjoyed all the cartoons process but the store where you can buy the character items were way too expensive and not enough items. You may found more merchandise at anywhere in Tokyo.
Anyway it’s great place to visit if you are Snoopy fan and you can enjoy to take a cute photos and there’s a cafe next to the museum.
