Lovely beach with nice fine sand, my kids and I were good with out swim shoes. That being said, if you plan on coming to swim, check the level of the tide in advance. I, unfortunately did not, and at the lowest point of the designated swimming area the water only comes up about .1 - .2m making it virtually impossible to “swim”. At high tide it appears to be about 2m deep, however.
They have chairs and umbrellas available to rent and it’s close to a spacious, free, parking lot.
Something for everyone. Relax, swim, beach sports and activities, rental access, free access, family fun, great food and shops, and spectacular sunsets.
Nice small public beach near the American village. The place is popular for bbq. There are toilets, showers (for 100yen)... Beach is clean. I woudn't spend there whole day but for 1-2 hours it is really nice and welcomed especially during the hot days. And you can watch the sunset here.;-)
I love this beach, except Annoying usa jet fighters are flying continuously over it very loudly all day long. I feel pity for Okinawa civilians. I could give this beach a 5-star if it was quiet.
You can rent a beach chair and umbrella for 3000 yen.
Toilet, shower and beverages are available.
I will not visit this beach ever. Too loud to relax. These jet planes are really annoying.
