The autumn leaves themselves were nearing the end of their season, but there were still some vibrant trees to enjoy. The autumn leaves reflected on the river's surface were beautiful. The river and red bridge are very picturesque, and it seems worth visiting even outside of autumn foliage season. I think you'll also enjoy going down to the riverbank. There is parking for about 10 cars and a toilet.

The autumn leaves were at their best! The autumn leaves changed late this year, so they were at their best just as December began. The mountains along the way were beautiful, but as soon as I turned right before the tunnel and entered Tenjinkyo Gorge, I was like, "Wow! It's beautiful!" Parking the car in the parking lot and walking along the promenade on the opposite bank, I was mesmerized. I love the refreshing summer scenery, but the autumn leaves are especially beautiful. The toilets here aren't modern, so make sure you use the restroom before you go.

It was too early for the autumn leaves to change color... Next time I'd like to go when the leaves are in full autumn color.
