Many temples are similar but this one is unique and worth visiting if you're not too far away. I wouldn't go out if my way to come but if in the area, it's great.
There's an impressive red toori gate path. It's probably better to go before sunset, for a better view.
A cute fluffy black cat seems to be a 'lical resident' 😂.
Places & attractions near Toyokawa Inari (Myogonji Temple), Aichi
Heard that it was one of the top 3 Inari shrine in Japan. So I came here as a day trip from Nagoya which took almost 2 hours to get here. The shrine is beautiful & give a mystery feel with all the kitsune statues. Its not crowded as well.
Given that it takes 2 hours one way, you can consider to skip it if needed
This place was so beautiful. The upkeep of the site is immaculate. The power spot with the fox statues are simply amazing and a great place to relax. The walking street leading up to it was relaxing to explore as well. Simply a great way to spend my morning. I like how it is such a simple walk from either JR or Meitetsu which stop near the walking street. I liked I was able to get my shrine stamp for my shrine stamp book.
Beautiful shrine. Really big and amazingly gorgeous shrine with alot of Nature and structures. Already went 2 times and the begining os the year ia really crowd with alot of food. Great place to visit.
