Tour of Traditional Sand Casting Foundry:

  • Visit Kanamori Gokin’s historic sand casting factory, continuing traditional techniques since 1714.

  • Observe the melting and casting process, with the main demonstration at 15:00, subject to change based on production schedules. Alternative tours of the factory and its other processes will be provided if needed.

  • The activity is easy and suitable for beginners.

  • Minimum age to participate is 3 years old.

  • Young children must be accompanied by a guardian.

  • Wear shoes that can get dirty if touring the factory.

  • Maximum group size is 30 participants per session.

  • Start times are 10:00, 13:00, and 15:00.

  • Participants craft their cutter from aluminum alloy.

  • Finished cutters measure W110 × D18 × H2 mm.

  • The itinerary may change based on the factory schedule.

  • Parking is available for 7 vehicles at the venue.

  • The factory is accessible via Hokuriku Railroad Bus to “Kannon-do,” 8-minute walk.
