We'll build a costed, pre-planned Japan itinerary you can customise to your taste.
Shirakawa-go is a UNESCO World Heritage village famous for its gassho-zukuri farmhouses, whose steep thatched roofs were built to shed the region's heavy snow. With your guide, you walk the lanes of Ogimachi Village, and depending on your interests you can step inside a historic home such as the Wada House or climb to the viewpoint for a panorama of the whole valley. The scenery changes completely with the seasons, from spring blossoms to snowbound winter rooftops.
