We did the after 3pm ticket as a spur of the moment activity. Well worth the price of admission. Enjoyed seeing the happiness spread everywhere. Crowded but why would it not be.

Excellent experience!
We enjoyed our disneyland experience. One pro tip is to download the disneyland app and attach the tickets before visiting. Keep checking the app for priority passes and 40th disney celebration passes. They are most useful to go for as many disney rides as possible. Do not spend for the parade tickets. You will be able to get a pretty decent view of it from close for free
We were able to go on 10 rides, have a hearty lunch and lots of snacks and also witnessed the electric parade.
Our favorites were splash mountain,great thunder mountain railway and gogo 's coaster
