A full-day tour from Sapporo to the historic port city of Otaru, led by a local English-speaking guide. The tour covers the Otaru Canal, Sakaimachi Street, the Kitaichi Glass Factory, the Music Box Museum, the Steam Clock, and concludes with a beer tasting at the canal-side German Beer Brewery.

Enjoyable Otaru Walking Tour for Shopping and Local Sights
Pro Tip - The meeting place is at Sapporo Station entrance next to the Daimaru Department Store. Plan to arrive at the meeting place at least 30 minutes before designated meeting time. Do not use meeting place address on Trip Advisor. (Uber taxi using that address took us to a different spot that was at least 15 minutes away and we had to run to the station.) We arrived 15 minutes late but luckily Scott was kind enough to wait for us to start the tour. If you get lost, call the TripAdvisor help line - they were very helpful and patient with us 🙂

Awsome day out! A must do.
Awsome town with a country feel.unbelievable shopping and history.Our guide Scott was full of local knowledge of japan.It was a great day out with a mate! Could not recommend it enough. Small group tours are so much better. Our best japan tour!
