Bon Odori is a traditional Japanese folk dance performed in a circle, often during the Obon festival to honor ancestors. The rhythm of this workshop’s dance is lively and samba-like, making it easy and enjoyable for beginners.
Participants aged 2 to 112 can join. The maximum group size is 15 people, making it suitable for families and small groups.
No experience is necessary. The workshop starts with step-by-step instruction, and all participants are encouraged to join in at their own pace.

Introduction to Japanese Culture
Really enjoyed the experience! The organizers were wonderful in showing how to dance in a group and then playing traditional Japanese instruments. It's a great event for first time visitors coming to Japan and to learn about Japanese culture.

A must do in Osaka!
This was an absolutely wholesome experience! I learnt so much about Japanese (specifically Osaka) culture and had a lovely time learning from the three lovely teachers. I'm so glad I did this and would recommend many others to do it too!
