A great way to spend an hour in the shadow of the Skytree Tokyo
A great way to spend an hour learning and creating a piece using Japanese calligraphy. Our host was charming, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this experience to everyone. The location is also excellent.

Close to sky tree, but way better (and cheaper)
Yoko was incredible! She was the friendlist, most generous person that we met in Tokyo. And the activity was a lot of fun. My 7 year olds had a great time, and had no problem making their characters and t-shirts with Yoko's help. This is a really undervalued experience, and everyone should try to get it into their Tokyo itinerary. I mean, why drop souvenir money for a t-shirt at some tourist trap shop that 1 million other people have, when you can spend an hour making your own, unique t-shirt and learn about Japanese home life from a local?
