A 2-hour evening walking tour of Shinsekai and the surrounding districts of southern Osaka led by a local English-speaking guide, covering Janjan Yokocho, Tsutenkaku Hondori, Nishinari, and Tobita Shinchi. All fees and taxes are included.
Janjan Yokocho is a narrow covered alley adjacent to Tsutenkaku Tower in Shinsekai, lined with retro eateries, bars, and shogi parlors. It retains the atmosphere of mid-20th century Osaka street culture and remains active as a local dining and leisure area.
The route covers Shinsekai, Janjan Yokocho, Tsutenkaku Hondori Shopping Street, Nishinari, and the exterior of Tobita Shinchi.
Bookings can be made up to the last minute, subject to availability.
Really amazing experience. Sometimes Japan seems like a perfect little place so it was good to see some of the parts hidden away from the tourists. The red light district was especially crazy. Our guide gave excellent info and answered all questions. Highly recommended

Great way to spend a night in Osaka
I was worried about getting to the meeting point on time, but thankfully the tour guide waited a few minutes after the tour start time to give everyone time to arrive. The tour was very engaging and educational. I appreciated the recommendations given by the tour guide.

Incredibly insightful
