If you have a JR PASS, transportation between stops is covered. If you do not have a JR PASS, you will need to pay ¥480 for train rides during the tour.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring cash for extra drinks or souvenirs. If you have a JR PASS, bring it to avoid extra transport costs. Most importantly, bring a good appetite and an interest in food and history!
